OUR MISSION:
It is the mission of the Diamond Tri Your Best to inspire young people to engage in physical activity by bringing the world of scouting and triathlons together. We are working with the Inland Northwest Scout Council to promote the event for all youth (scouts or not) in the region. In addition, we encourage any first-time participants, not matter what age, who want to experience the fun and challenge of a triathlon to sign up.

Adding Olympic Distance and also Relay options for Sprint & Olympic (1 swimmer, 1 biker, 1 runner in team of 3). Also note changes in start times.
DISTANCE & COURSE OPTIONS:
- SuperSprint – 200 yards swim, 6 miles bike, 1.5 miles trail run
- Sprint – 400 yards swim, 12 miles bike, 3 miles trail run
- Olympic – 1600 yards swim, 23 miles bike, 6 miles trail run
AGES:
- SuperSprint (ages 11+)
- Sprint (ages 18+)
- Olympic (ages 18+)
START TIMES:
- OLYMPIC (Longest Course) - race starts at 8:00 am
- Check In and set up in transition – 6:00 – 7:15 am
- Informational Talk in transition area – 7:15 am
- Swim Warmup – 7:30 – 7:45 am
- SPRINT (Medium Course) - race starts at 9:00 am
- Check In and set up in transition – 7:00 – 8:15 am
- Informational Talk in transition area – 8:15 am
- Swim Warmup – 8:30 – 8:45 am
- SUPERSPRINT (Shortest Course) – race starts 10:00 am
- Check In and set up in transition – 8:00 – 9:15 am
- Information Talk in transition area – 9:15 am
- Swim Warmup – 9:30 – 9:45 am
PACKET PICKUP:
- Friday, September 6, 2024 6:00 – 9:00 pm
- Saturday, September 7, 2024 – staggered check-in times per race as shown above

Race Day Food Options:
Coffee Vendor: Have Beans Will Travel will again be onsite for your coffee and beverage purchases.
Breakfast Vendor: Edgewater Lounge will again be providing Breakfast Burritos for purchase at registration or at the door. (not included in registration)
Lunch Vendor: David's Pizza will be returning to provide Pizza Lunch for everyone.
Included in the registration for participants but also available for purchase at registration or at the door for your family members and friends.
LODGING OPTIONS:
Local Hotel/Motel Options available in Newport, WA and the surrounding area.
Tourism Support Provided by Pend Oreille County Hotel/Motel Tax Funds
- Camping is available onsite at Cowles Scout Reservation. Bring your own gear. Make your tent reservations and purchase your spot in the merchandise section of your registration.
- RV Camping available at nearby KOA with full hookups.
- RV Camping available onsite with NO hookups, just dry camping, inquire using the Contact Us button below.
